El Sobrante Kitchen Remodel

This El Sobrante kitchen opens onto the dining nook and living room, so it had to look good from every seat in the house. Navy shaker cabinets with brass pulls run along the walls, with glass-front uppers and floating wood shelves where the uppers stop.

The island is the center of it: white quartz that waterfalls down both ends, a wood-paneled side facing the living room, a wine fridge, and stools along the front. A skylight and white ceramic pendants light it from above.

Gray stacked tile runs up the walls behind the range and sink. The sink is a fluted white apron-front with a brass bridge faucet under the window. The dining nook has a built-in window bench, and the arched built-in bookshelves carry the same white through to the living room.
