Alameda ADU

A 650-square-foot, two-bedroom ADU behind a two-story house in Alameda. The main room is vaulted with a skylight, which keeps the kitchen bright during the day.

We kept the finishes simple and hard-wearing: white shaker cabinets, a quartz slab that runs all the way up the backsplash, and LVP floors throughout.

The bathroom has a tub-shower in large marble-look porcelain and a double vanity in light oak on a black metal frame, with two brass-framed round mirrors. The stacked washer and dryer live in the bathroom too, so no floor space goes to a laundry closet.
